President All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Nazar Hussain said that government should provide protection to government employees and accepts their demands if it wants good governance in the country. Government should not deceive the clerks by making false promises and lame excuses. He expressed these views while addressing the Workers Convention in Multan Arts Council here on Wednesday.
Nazar Hussain said that APCA leaders have given sacrifices for the rights of government employees but government has always rejected the demands of employees by making lame excuses whereas there is no shortage of funds for the luxuries of rulers. Benazir Bhutto had said that country will not progress until the government employees would become prosperous but rulers are transferring their bank balance in the foreign accounts. The rulers cannot stay in rule for the long time due to their dictatorship policies.
He said that US has realised this by fighting in Afghanistan that if it is required to destroy any country then firstly destroy its culture and then raise the prices of daily commodities of life. "Sharif brothers have collected Rs 2 billion by increasing the price of sugar during the recent days", he added. Nazar Hussain said that we would not allow the rulers to loot this country anymore. If our demands would not be fulfilled then APCA would take out the protest movement in favour of its demands. Divisional President APCA, Khalid Javed, Mukhtar Ahmad, Zafar ali Khan, and others also addressed on this occasion.
