More than 100 citizens on Thursday organised a rally and staged a demonstration in favour of WikiLeaks for exposing the nefarious designs of United States and United Kingdom. They also burnt the flags of UK and US and condemned the arrest of Julian Assange describing it gagging the press and demanded his immediate release.
The rally was led by leaders of United Citizens Alliance, Tariq Naeem-ullah Khan, Jamshed Khan Tareen, Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed, Rao Farman Al and Malik Nazir Rehmani. The participants shouted slogans in favour of Julian Assange and against the corrupt, dishonest and pro-US politicians of the country. Addressing the participants the speakers said that WikiLeaks documents had exposed the Pro-US Pakistani politicians whose politics rallied round the yankees.
