'Rights Laws should be modified into Child friendly'

It's a need of the hour that Child Rights Laws should be modified into Child friendly. This was stated Lawyers at a Orientation Session organised by Children Complaint Office, Ombudsman Punjab on Thursday at a local hotel. Child Protection Specialist Unicef Punjab, Shugufata Bhatti said that Lawyers may constitute Child Protection Comatees for the welfare of Children, she added that Child welfare institutions should made arrangements for reconciliation of Children with their parents and houses.
Ehsan Ghani Focal Person CCO Punjab brief about the working of Children Complaint Office and further said that collective effects would be made for the protection of Children. Sohail Tipu Advocate suggests that more protection of Child Rights through awareness. Fayyaz Mahar Advocate said that effective legislation banned the early age and forced marriages he further said girls should be priority as like boys. While Rashid Lodhi, Mumtaz Ahmad Advocate and Ulfat Abbas were also amongst the speakers.
