A four-member delegation of CBI (Centre for Promotion of Import from Developing Countries) consultant (Netherlands) on Thursday visited Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and discussed different aspects pertaining to promotion of exports. Programme Manager, CBI Christa Bouwhuis talked about various ongoing and future activities of CBI services including export coaching programme for Pakistan.
Bouwhuis further informed that export coaching programme had been designed for enterprises wishing to export to the European Union, BSO development programme, capacity development for intermediate organisations that support exporters to export to the European Union, training programmes, seminars and workshops on exporting to European Union for exporters, staff of intermediate organisations and commercial attaches. The aim of visiting Sialkot was to enhance exports from Pakistan and in this regard CBI will extend all possible co-operation and guidance to the business community of this export-oriented city of Pakistan, she said.
