More than 116,000 pilgrims have returned from Saudi Arabia after performing Hajj since the beginning of post-Hajj flights operation from November 20. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Saudi Airlines are operating special Hajj flights to complete the one-month post-Hajj flight operation, a spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs informed APP on Monday.
Besides, he said, out of around 948 seasonal staff, medical mission, Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj and Local Khuddam deployed at Jeddah, Makkah and Madina to facilitate pilgrims, 576 have so far reached Pakistan after performing their Hajj duties. Commenting on medical facilities to Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, he said a hospital and dispensaries equipped with paramedical staff including specialist doctors had been set up in Makkah where provision of medicines was ensured.
