They started everything in the name of religion and they have ruined everything in the name of the same. A mediocre country with the capacity to feed its limited population well enough for ages without having the need to take billions of loans and aid from super powers, has shrunk not only in size of its value on the map but has actually sold itself in every aspect.
We are now paying for the vegetables in the form of imports that we ourself grow here. We have doubled the cost of everything when it is not even required in the first place. The bills that you pay for electricity are so highly unnecessary that you will be amazed to find how cheap this resource is in other countries, including the places that do not produce their own electricity and borrow it from neighbouring places.
We are not scarce in resources. We are not even scarce in production machinery. We, ourselves, have, deliberately, left the production unit to rot until scrap. The load shedding, of which we hear everyday is short by etc watts, is more damaging to the monopolist supplier than giving out electricity 24/7. Each time the light is powered again, the life of the transformer is reduced manifolds. And they complain, the machinery doesn't support their plans. There are offers from everywhere, but we are a little negligent because we do not know how to sign papers that help the country. And not to forget the additional units you get in your bills during summers are no big deal.
As per a recent experience, never even try to go to lodge a complaint, they openly abuse you and threaten you to deprive you of the electricity blessing. It happened with my brother and a few thousand others, mostly white collar people who went there to spend a day's vacation. More informative news is that you will be charged additional units during winters as well. Don't worry, it is just for the sake of it. My maid got 3K bill, they don't have AC, TV, cooler, fridge etc but maybe they got such amount is because they do not use energy saving lights.
The street crime that you suffer is purely political. It is a business. Any time you may be robbed, raped, shot or kidnapped, please do not think that you have an unfortunate life, it only means that you just happened to be part of a game. It is nothing personal. The police is involved in everything. They know everything. Their IQ and knowledge is beyond the caliber of a fifth grader but their general understanding to keep their hands off crime is purely intuitive. They are always late at the scene of crime. However, try not to file an F.I.R for two hours. Amazingly, they will come to your door personally asking if something has happened. Not that they had an intuition but because they heard it. Perhaps a rumor, but they are concerned in robbing you a little more. Dragging yourself in a case is paying the culprits twice. There are those who stole you when you were unconscious by keeping the gun out of the pocket, and then there are those who will steal you under your consciousness by keeping the gun in the pocket.
There is absolutely no need of police in our society anymore. All their work involves is transporting the qaidees from one jail to another. That is what they do best, they have great driving skills but these skills skip a beat if any qaidee has been under a bid. In that scenario, the wagon would break down and the tire would need to be changed, and there goes only one or two qaidees. Other scenarios include mistakenly keeping the door open before beginning the journey. They are biggest bribes men. They are the most corrupted. They are the most sold. They are the biggest source of leaking information. They are the most illiterate and ill spoken. They have the highest ratio of relatives in the crimes fields. So why do we keep these men in so-called uniforms?
The answer lies in careful drug trafficking, safe human exporting, quiet robberies, on-sight target killings, silent information exchange and getting women to the side-markets. They are not kept in the country for our safety. They are nude models of maintain the terror that the ugly-rich cannot themselves do on a day to day basis.
Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa! So complicated a word that by the time you are done writing it with the correct spelling, you actually forget the problems you were going to bring under discussion. Ironic. The change of the name does not change the situation in that province; however, you do see a little less of the name in the papers now. Maybe they have a difficulty making the story for it as well since only the name itself covers up maximum space in the news.
Anyways, getting back to the point. Who are the people being killed there? Today so and so many numbers have been killed; they were believed to be the extremists? Does anybody go there and verify? Has anyone ever enquired who these people actually were? Has anyone ever seen any record of them or their names? No family protests ever to the media. Who knows who is being killed in the name of who-so-ever. The only picture one is not seeing is that these are all mere grounds being laid down to spread the same across country. Lets predict a little future here. The killings will rise. Soon there will be news that these people are fleeing to other parts of the country. The gora plans and the no-man flying machineguns would naturally too. And sooner the whole country will be covered, anyone could be killed and olla, a terrorist he was.
The aid. We are selling our edibles, cloth, sport goods, leather and guess what, we are buying it back as well. The difference is that we sell them at a price as if they are a gift, but we are buying it back at the price which signifies that we are made a mistake giving it to you, so give it back, please! Sheer stupidity in planning what we should retain in meeting the demands of our own people and what we should sell that we wouldn't have to buy back. And then we also ask for loans for buying-back our precious essentials. Not to forget, loans with a price in the form of interests, where we ask for more loans to pay back the interest that we cannot pay on the earlier ones.
The taxes and surcharges that you pay are required by the government to payback money they borrowed to build everything that you never saw and will never ever see. But the government is wise. Unlike other governments, the taxes are not going to be spent back on you either, no wonder other governments are successful.
Anyways, don't even think that if you are sending you children to government schools, you are giving them any education. You are sending them because you can afford to keep them out of your house and they can learn all foolishness and do all foolishness in the schools. Even the goats will curse civilisation if it is tried to teach them their textbooks. And the buffalos might consider running for a change. The curriculum is so ill-structured that even cramming it is not against the law of nature. This is because it makes no sense. The tenth grade computers course book teaches children how to make a computer, there is no concept of teaching them how to use one. Moreover, the chunks picked are so haphazard that even if one tries, he can never ever build one. The English textbook tries to teach you right from grade I till the very end of matriculation how to write an essay and application etc without actually making you write one properly. And God may seriously forbid the teachers the government schools are using. Not only that they come to school right after mopping the floor, or in men's case after yelling at their wives, they do not know the ABC of manners in the class. Please, we are only referring to the mere majority here.
Lastly, before you take your brain out to put it to a little ease, you will be glad to know how much we love art and drama. We, infact, now provide the street plays. They are informative, tells you the cons of messing up with the people in control, and lately, we showed a live demo of how to kill brothers/ dacoits/ rapists. It is so much close to reality that the main character actually dies in the end. We provided the exclusive one-time show to old, teens, women and the youngsters, free of charge. The same may perhaps be presented in future as well, but there is one rule however: silence has to be observed to let the actors focus on their act so that they can give you a good show. And not to our surprise, these shows are quite popular, no advertisement needed. Cost of the props are minimal, however, a small truck will need to be hired for a few hours for after 'the end' purposes. Be proud of this country. And don't expect things to change. Too much optimism is also injurious to health and dignity. Pakistan ka matlab kia: I don't know, but kuch to tha!
