International Federation of Journalists (Asia-Pacific) has condoled the death of Business Recorder Editor-in-Chief M A Zuberi. In a message to Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Jacquelline Park, IFJ Asia-Pacific Director, said: "Dear Pervaiz, Shamsul and PFUJ colleagues, "On behalf of the Asia-Pacific office of the International Federation of Journalists, I wish to convey our deepest sympathy on the sad passing of M A Zuberi.
"We wish to extend our condolences to Mr Zuberi's family, friends and colleagues in the media. We understand his work as a journalist and a founding activist of the PFUJ in 1950 did much for the cause of democracy and media freedom in Pakistan. The IFJ is certain that his dedication to democracy and freedom of expression will be carried on in the work of his colleagues at the PFUJ. "Please pass on our sympathy to Mr Zuberi's family..."
