An armed clash between two religious groups left a person injured in the limits of Sarjani Town police station. Two religious groups scuffled on the issue of chanting slogans at Sarjani Town sector 7-A near Siddique-e-Akbar mosque, which left one mourner injured.
Following the clash tension griped the area. Taking immediate action, heavy contingent of police and Rangers rushed to the scene and dispersed the people. The injured, who was identified as Danish Abbas, 17, son of Syed Abbas, was later taken to Agha Khan Hospital for medical treatment. No case was registered till filing this report.
