FPCCI's 'Businessmen Panel': meeting reviews arrangements for holding election
The ruling 'Businessmen Panel' of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) met in Islamabad on Sunday to review arrangements for holding its biennial election in Karachi this month in order to finalise a candidate for the next term.
Co-chairman Businessmen Panel, and Vice President Saarc CCI Pakistan chapter, Iftikhar Ali Malik told Business Recorder that the meeting was attended by prominent business leaders from across the country including Tariq Saeed, Mirza Iftikhar Baig, Senator Ghulam Ali Shah, Salma Ahmad, Shela Akram, Shah Faisal, and presidents of various chambers of commerce and industry.
Meanwhile, Malik said that the permanent building of FPCCI has almost been completed and its secretariat would soon be shifted to this building so that it could take decisions independently of government pressure or influence.
