President Asif Ali Zardari while taking notice of the reports of a girl's molestation in Karachi has called for a detailed inquiry into the incident by the concerned authorities and for submission of a report. The President strongly condemned the incident and said the PPP believed in the protection of women as well as their rights and has taken various initiatives including the legislative measures to ensure the same.
The President said the PPP believed in the rightful place for women as well as their respect in the society and will continue to take all measures to achieve this objective.
