Nominal changes seen in low activity on grain market

Subdued business was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Wednesday as most of the buyers showed little interest in fresh purchasing, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old Burdan (with bag) was registered at Rs 2640-2645 and new type quoted at Rs 2655-2660.
Gur low type stayed put at Rs 6800 and the good type was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 7200, other items were unmoved in process of trading, they said. On the grams sector bajra low type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2550 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 3000, they said. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality was up at Rs 1250 while the good type did not show any change at Rs 1260, they said.
