The Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmed Khan Wattoo has said that the PPP-led government is stabilising the democracy and taking positive steps for welfare of the people in urban and rural areas of the country.
He stated this while addressing the party workers in the ceremonies held at Wassavewala and Hujra Shah Muqeem (Okara) after inaugurating the different projects there on Saturday. MNA Khurram Jehangir Wattoo also addressed the meetings. The PPP leader Mian Aamir Hayat Wattoo and large number of people of the area were present on the occasion.
Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo said that the present government did not believe in the politics of victimisation and was promoting the politics of reconciliation. He said the government wanted to put the country on the path of progress and prosperity by eliminating the terrorism forever from the country.
He said all the democratic institutions were working according the constitution and the government will complete its constitutional tenure at all costs. He said the democracy was restored with the political vision of the President Asif Ali Zardari in the country. He said that China was reliable friend of Pakistan and it was supporting profoundly for the development in the different sectors.
Wattoo said that the need of hour is that our politicians jointly should struggle for the integrity and security of the country, as during the prevailing situation it was not in position to face any debacle or unconstitutional steps.
To a question, he said that Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman should revise his decision for the better interest of the country. Answering another question, he said that Pakistan in no way could ignore Kashmir problem in dialogues with India.
