SEOUL: South Korea plans to sell 4.6 trillion Korean won ($4.24 billion) worth of treasury bonds through auctions in December, less than 5.35 trillion won worth planned for November, the finance ministry said on Thursday.
The Ministry of Strategy and Finance also said it would buy back 0.5 trillion won worth of treasury bonds ahead of maturity in December. It will also exchange 100 billion won worth of existing paper with new debt.
