Mixed price pattern was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Tuesday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereal side gur prices came down with falling demand, inferior type lost Rs 300 to Rs 6500 and good type fell sharply by Rs 400 to Rs 7000 and Khandsari followed the same pattern, declining by Rs 500 to Rs 10,000 due to fresh arrival, they said.
On the grams side bajra low type was down by Rs 25 to Rs 2475 and best type was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 2900, other items were unmoved in process of slow trading, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh showed modest gains after picking up Rs 50 to Rs 3350 and Rs 3375 on slight rise in demand by the exporters, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag gained Rs 30 to Rs 1260-1280 on short supply and higher demand, other items were unchanged due to balanced demand and supply position, dealers said.
