Judge of an Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi, Rana Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday sent the former City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Saud Aziz and former SP Rawal Town Khurram Shehzad to Adiala Jail on judicial remand. The FIA had sought nine days physical remand of the accused facing the lawsuit in assassination case of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The court also issued show cause notice to FIA Assistant Director Asghar Jatoi on account of writing a letter to Interior Ministry stating the court had ordered the agency to investigate officials of spy agencies in Benazir Bhutto's assassination case. However, the FIA officer immediately tendered his apology with the court.
