An Inter Court Appeal (ICA) has been filed before the Lahore High Court (LHC) against dismissal of a petition against sale of adulterated packaged and loose milk. The LHC single bench had dismissed a petition filed by Watan Party through Barrister Zafarullah Khan who had asserted that melamine and other chemicals injurious to human health were being used in the milk.
The bench while dismissing the petition had held a report by German laboratory had declared the milk "fit for human consumption" and thus the media reports, which claimed the milk was adulterated had no value.
