Sindh National Front (SNF) Chief and former Sindh Chief Minister Mumtaz Ali Bhutto said on Thursday that President Asif Ali Zardari is struggling to save his power chair. "Zardari is wooing MQM while other politicians are busy in fulfilling their interests and do not care of people, as a result, the country and the people are heading towards destruction," he said while talking to a delegation at his residence.
Mumtaz Bhutto said that Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah made Pakistan on an ideology and principles but seven governments came after his death due to which people had to undergo a 10-year-army rule of General Ayub Khan. Later, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto came with a principled politics and ruled the country for five years but he was later hanged to death, which was tantamount to hang Pakistan politics. Mumtaz Ali Bhutto further said that the rule of Musharraf was also tormenting but the people have been compelled to remember his rule. Now the rulers and politicians should bring mercy on the country, he said.
