Four people were killed in different incidents of firing here on Thursday. A 35-year-old man was shot dead by armed assailants near Noorani Eidgah Ground in Purana Golimar. The deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem. Later he was identified as Maalik Shah, son of Baghdad Shah. Officials at Pak Colony police station told Business Recorder that the deceased received four bullets on his head and died on the spot. No FIR was registered till filing of this report.
In another incident 40-year-old Salahuddin, son of Gul Mohammad was shot dead by armed robbers at Shamsi Mohalla, Machar Colony. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem. Officials at Docks police station told Business Recorder that the deceased was in his plastic godown when three armed men entered the godown. Gul put up resistance with the result the armed robbers opened fire on him and fled from the scene.
He died on the spot. No case was registered till filing of this report. Body of 40-year-old Asad, son of Abid Hussain was found from Khudadad Colony. Official at Ferozabad police station told Business Recorder that police recovered his body from the bushes. He was resident of New Karachi. Police shifted his body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem, he added.
He said Asad was wanted in cases of robberies and other crimes, adding that unknown suspects killed him after kidnapping and threw the body in Khudadad Colony. He said his body was later handed over to his heirs. Decomposed body of a 30-year-old man was found near License Branch Office, Clifton. Officials at Boat Basin police station told Business Recorder that the body was partially decomposed and was found from a vacant plot. Police shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for post-mortem.
