Complete shutter down strike was observed in Hyderabad including its subdivisions Latiafabad and Qasimabad on Friday against the reported government move to repeal blasphemy law. All the business centers and shops remained closed. The public transport was off the roads and there was thin attendance in the government offices.
The law enforcing agencies maintained strict security to avert any untoward incident. Meanwhile, complete shutter down strike was observed on Friday in Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Ubauro and other towns of district against reported move of the government to repeal blasphemy law. Different religious parties took out rallies in various towns of district.
