Director, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) Dr Khalid Masood Gondal Lahore Centre visited Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC). During his visit, he addressed the supervisors, fellows of the college and residents and apprised the participants of different steps taken by the CPSP for the betterment of the doctors.
He emphasised that in spite of high inflation, CPSP has not raised any fee for the examinations for the last four years. He also informed that now many examinations would be conducted at regional centers, so that candidates should not face travelling problems during their exams. He further informed the participants that the FCPS was now recognised equal to Royal College and American Board degrees and diplomas in many countries such as Saudi Arabia and some other Gulf countries.
