National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad will hold 'Fish Week' from Friday at its cafes located in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, NPC President Afzal Butt said on Tuesday. He said besides fried fish other fish dishes such as fish biryani, fish pulao, fish coconut curry, tandoori fish, and fish vegetable would be available to members at reasonable rates. He said separate sitting arrangements for the families of journalists had been made at the cafes.
Meanwhile, as part of its efforts to provide recreational opportunities to the families of journalists the club had arranged a one-night stay trip to Muree on January 17. The families may enjoy a lot on January 17-18 as the Met Office has forecast snowfall on these two days.
The club would bear all the expenses of the trip including travelling and lodging and only Rs 100 per head would be charged. The club has asked all the members to obtain a form from its office and submit it before January 10.
