Former Minister for Foreign Affairs, Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri on Tuesday said judicial inquiry should be conducted to find out actual reasons behind the assassination of Governor Punjab, Salman Taseer. There must be a judicial inquiry of the incident and it should not be delayed, he told media persons.
Strongly condemning assassination of Salman Taseer, he said such incidents are bad for the country, which is already facing problems. The need of today is unity among the masses and everyone should play their role in this regard, he maintained. He observed that the assassination has created a vacuum in the political scene, adding that late Taseer's services for Pakistan Peoples Party will be remembered forever. Kasuri prayed for rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
