The Swiss franc was near flat against the euro on Wednesday and with risk aversion limited several analysts saw the franc falling as traders capitalised on its record rise against the common currency. With economic worries taking a back seat, the safe-haven franc, which rose about 16 percent against the euro last year due to concerns about debt in the euro zone, has eased somewhat from the all-time peak of 1.24 per euro on December 30.
According to Reuters data. The franc was near flat against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.2613 per euro. The franc fell 0.4 percent against the dollar at 0.9517 per dollar.
