See the world with images from Wikimedia Commons

The online repository of free-use images, sound and other media files available on Wikimedia Commons is perfect for seeing curiosities from all over the globe. Around 7.8 million media files are available on Wikimedia Commons. The majority are images but graphics, maps and videos can also be downloaded.
The site is run by the Wikimedia Foundation, which also runs the online encyclopedia Wikipedia. All files can be used for free although as the project's primary function is as a supporting project for the other Wikimedia websites, they must be potentially useful on any of the Wikimedia projects.
Visitors to the Wikimedia Commons homepage (http://commons.wikimedia.org) are presented with a list of categories and can search for example by location or by countries and also countries by continent. There is a search bar on the top right of the homepage.
