The Punjab government has on Tuesday carried out transfer and posting of senior government official. According to a notification, Captain Tariq Masud (Retd), presently serving under the Punjab government, has been relieved of his duties to join his new assignment as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Defence Division), Government of Pakistan.
Farqaleet Meer, Director Sasti Roti Punjab, Lahore, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Programme Director, Project Management Unit, Special Development Initiatives, Home Department, on deputation basis against a vacant post.
Muhammad Aslam, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) has been posted as Additional Secretary, Finance Department, against a vacant post. Maqsood Qadir Shah OSD, has been posted as Deputy Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries Corporation, on deputation basis against a vacant post.
Arshad Rashid OSD has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, in his own pay and scale against a vacant post. The services of Khalid Mahmood Cheema, Budget Officer in Project Management Unit (PMU) Lahore Ring Road and Sialkot-Lahore Motorway Project, have been repatriated to his parent department, ie Director General, Audit Punjab, Lahore, for further orders. He has also been relieved of his duties in the Government of Punjab, forthwith.
Khalid Mahmood Mela, Director (Estate) in Auqaf Organisation Punjab Lahore has been made an OSD and directed to report to Services and General Administration Department, for further orders. He has been replaced by Allah Rakha Anjum, Deputy Secretary, Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department. Nabeel Javed, on acting charge basis, Director General of Local Government and Community Development, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Local Government and Community Development Department, replacing Muhammad Sheheryar Sultan. Muhammad Shehryar Sultan, on acting charge basis, Additional Secretary, Local Government and Community Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Local Government and Community Development Punjab.
