Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khurshid Shah along with Minister of State for Religious Affairs, Shagufta Jumani attended de-briefing meeting on Haj 2010. The Secretary, Joint Secretary and private company owners and DG Haj and others also attended the meeting. Minister was briefed on Health Mission, Khuddam-ul Hajaj, hiring of accommodation and monitoring during Haj.
Federal Minister discussed different proposals for the upcoming Haj mission 2011. It was also suggested that passport number must be mentioned by all the applicants for the Haj and the discussions will be held with the PIA officials to lessen the duration of 40 days. The Minister also suggested to establish Pakistan House in Makkah and that all the rented building should be within the limit of 1.8 to 2 km from Haram Sharif.
