The Lahore High Court (LHC) issued notices to District Officer (MCH) Lahore Dr Nasreen Hameed and others in a petition filed by a citizen Muhammad Rafiq challenging her qualification. The petitioner through his counsel Rana Habib-ur-Rehman contended that the respondent doctor was holding diploma in MCH, which was demand of the post. She, therefore, was not qualified for the post and was working illegally.
He also said doctor was appointed seven years back but under the government rules any employee could not stay more than three years on the same post. He approached the concerned authorities against the respondent for lawful action but all in vain.
