Federal Minister for Human Rights Mumtaz Alam Gilani took serious notice of abduction of six persons from Balochistan and ensured to take immediate steps. In a meeting with provincial minister for minorities Basant Lal Gulshan here on Thursday Mumtaz Gilani requested Chief Minister Balochistan to personally look into the matter and take effective measures.
Basant Lal informed the federal minister regarding kidnapping of spiritual religious leader Mahraj Sain Lakme Geer from Kalat, two persons kidnapped from Noshki namely Raj Kumar and Vinod Kumar and also referred to abduction of Daleep Kumar and Naik Ram from Jaffarabad. In all, he said, within a period of 22 days five persons have been kidnapped. This situation is not only created an atmosphere of fear but also raised the serious question about the secure existence of minorities in the region, Basant Lal commented.
