Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Shah and Minister of State, Shagufta Jamani held a meeting with the Hajj organisers' association of Pakistan regarding policy for Hajj 2011. The representatives of the association, in their briefing to the minister, demanded an increase in quota for private organisers' scheme of Hajj 2011.
They also asked the minister that participation of the association in formation of the policy at all stages maybe considered. The association also requested to include their representatives for finalisation of matters with the Saudi government. In response to the suggestions, Khurshid Shah emphasised the need for proper check and balance to ensure transparencies in all areas of Hajj operation.-PR
