Unknown miscreants on Thursday attacked a police mobile van with a remote control bomb, killing two policemen and injuring five others in Bannu district a day after the bomber hit a police station in Bannu killing 20 people, police said. The police van was attacked with remote control device in Sardi Khel town of Bannu district bordering North waziristan agency.
The injured were shifted district headquarters hospital Bannu and admitted. The police launch massive crack down against the militants. The police seized two explosives packed bags from Miryan road and defused it. The funerals of the 20 dead of the suicide attack on the police station was held in the district amid touching scenes.
