Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President Faisal Saleh Hayat has approved 46 players for the build-up matches for national youth soccer team to appear in the 2012 Olympic Football Asian Qualifying Tournament. The camp will be organised from 15th January to 4th February 2011 at the famous soccer academy located in Model Town C & D Block, Lahore.
Shahkot-born 17 years old Muzammil Hussain, rated as one of the most upcoming keeper, is among the probable players for the event. Searched by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme Coach Muhammad Habib (Faisalabad), Muzammil won Best Goalkeeper Award in 19th National U-18 Championship 2007 at Model Town FC Ground.
Pakistan have been pitted against Malaysia with the first leg to be played in Kuala Lumpur on 23rd February, 2011 and the return leg in Pakistan on 9th March 2011. Muzammil is expected to get tough time in camp from PPFL 2010 Best Keeper Muhammad Omar (KESC) and Bilal Rafiq (PIA) who represented National Team in SAFF 2008 Championship.
