The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Tuesday announced the results of first professional MBBS Part-II annual examination. A total of 2923 candidates from 20 affiliated medical colleges appeared in the examination out of which 2241 passed and 653 failed. Result of 29 candidates was put on RL list. The pass percentage remained 77.44 per cent, a spokesman of the UHS said on Tuesday.
Javaria Karamat D/o Karamat Mahmood of Central Park Medical College Lahore got first position securing 494/550 marks. Mudassar Latif Malik S/o Muhammad Latif Malik of Central Park Medical College, Lahore and Hira Yousuf D/o Mohammad Yousuf of Multan Medical College, Multan got second and third positions, securing 492/550 and 483/550 marks, respectively. The spokesman said the supplementary exams would commence on March 01, 2011.
