The local Taliban militants have allegedly killed four robbers what they believed to be the members of an alleged "Dacoit Group", district police said. The bodies were identified as Anwar, Ghazi, Farooq and Sharabi, local police said. The bodies were recovered from Sarkadana locality on Tuesday as the Taliban have accepted the responsibility for the killings.
The Taliban have warned local people against attending the funereal prayers. The police sources informed that letters found near the bodies stated that the robbers were killed because they belonged to a group of kidnappers. Meanwhile, the police, taking the corpses under control have moved the same to hospital for autopsy.
