The special services commando training of NH&MP officers on modern lines will give a strong message to the criminal elements that they are going to face a physically tough, professionally skilled, trained, confident and vigilant force. This was said by IG Motorway Dr Wasim Kauser on the occasion of passing out ceremony of 5th Special Services Commando Training Programme at Sheikhupura Training Institute of Motorway Police here on Wednesday.
DIG N-5 Central Syed Ibne Hussain, SSP N-5 C-I Inksaar Khan, Commandant Sheikhupura Training Institute Jahanzeib Khan Jogezei, Deputy Commandant Training Institute Riaz Ghara and SSP M-2 Nisar Soraya were also present on the occasion.
IG Motorways said that the standard of NH&MP Special Services Commando Training Programme is not less than any international training programme. In the prevalent scenario it is demand of time to align the training of our officers on modern lines to enable them to cop any untoward situation. NH&MP has double image, soft for ordinary commuters and harsh for criminals.
On this occasion DIG Syed Ibne Hussain said that it is necessary to establish a force physically fit, skilled in handling weapons, mentally sharp, focused and having a sense of duty in the current situation of our country. He further said that the newly trained commandos are an asset of Motorway Police and will produce many fruitful and positive results on the field.
Commandant Training Institute Jahanzeib Khan Jogezei during his welcome address briefed the IG Motorway about the NH&MP Special Service Commando Training Programme. He showed his commitment to further uplift the standard of the training Institute.
