Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Sindh police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested another member of the Tehreek-e-Punjabi Mujahideen on Wednesday. Officials said the arrested person namely Tariq Jadoon was alleged in two serious offences including bomb blast in Karachi University and a murder of his university fellow Atif, who was killed in 2008.
Ali Raza DSP SIU said that Tariq, who was wanted in KU blast and in the murder of his university fellow, was arrested from Mehmoodabad area. He said that police had recovered a TT pistol from his possession and registered a case against him.
