Law enforcement agencies on Thursday claimed to have arrested three persons, who said to be involved in the targeted killings of Awami National Party (ANP) workers in the limits of Gaddap Town Police station. According to police sources, police and rangers in a joint operation arrested three persons, who recently alleged targeted ANP's workers in Pehalwan Goth areas of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, from Superhighway in the jurisdiction of Gaddap town police station.
They said the arrested persons namely Muddasir alias Chief, Atif Shahab and Raees alias Arastu, who earlier associated with Shaheed Bhutto Group of PPP, were now running own gang, which reportedly involved in various illicit activities like land grabbing, killing and kidnapping for ransom.
