OnePlus wins charging battle against Apple, Samsung and Google
Looking at recent scenarios, it seems like every smartphone brand is in a continuous struggle to complete against each other either through ad mocking or any other way. OnePlus has taken its turn at showing the major competitors that it won’t stand behind.
OnePlus recently launched its OnePlus 5T and has claimed that it has the greatest battery life when compared to Apple’s latest iPhone 8+, Samsung’s Galaxy S8+ and Google’s Pixel 2 XL. The idea was to introduce its new ‘Dash Charge’, the company’s proprietary charging technology that permits superfast recharging of phone even when it is not in use, informs Phone Arena.
Huawei and Motorola take their turns at mocking Samsung in their ad
The company officially demonstrated a charging test in a video posted on its Twitter account and showed how OnePlus beat them all. The video compared the phones and showed that though they all support quick-charging, they were not able to win against OnePlus’ Dash Charge. The phones were charged for 30 minutes but only OnePlus made it to the most that was 57%. On the other hand, Galaxy S8+ made it to 17%, iPhone 8+ made to 16% whereas, Pixel 2 XL reached up to only 11%.
However, Tech Juice reports that the video authenticity cannot be accurately confirmed. The 55 seconds long video does not show any visible signs if the phones’ original chargers were used or not, except for OnePlus that has a red wire as its noticeable indication.
The phone is yet not available in Pakistan and is expected to arrive in the markets soon. You can have a look at the video below.
