Four militants killed in Waziristan

Militants on Friday attacked a security checkpost in North Waziristan Agency and in the ensuing gun-battle four militants were killed, a security official said. The militants attacked a security post in Miran Shah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency, and in the retaliatory firing four attackers were shot dead.
The militants frequently attack forces' convoy and checkposts in the tribal regions near the Afghan border. Separately security forces conducted search operation in Akora Khattak and arrested six militants including two important commanders belonging to Mohmand agency.
