Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) has extended the date of process of distribution of free wheat seed and urea fertiliser amongst the farmers of flood-hit areas till January 31, 2011. A spokesman of the department said that date is being extended so as to facilitate those farmers who got registered themselves in the process but could not get fertilizer and seeds despite securing vouchers.
