Muhammad Lehrasib Gondal has been selected Vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council (PBC) while Zafar Mehmood Mughal Chairman Executive Committee unopposed for next year. Both were the candidates of Friends Alliance while Professional Group of Hamid Khan did not field its candidates.
It was learnt that Hamid Khan decided not to field his candidate due to unfavourable position. The newly elected Vice Chairman Lerasib Gondal was elected as member PBC from Mandi Bahauddin while Chairman Executive Committee Zafar Mehmood Mughal belongs to Rawalpindi. President Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir and Pakistan Bar Council members Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon and Azam Nazir Tarar congratulated the winning candidates.
