Deputy Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Farid Ahmad Paracha has said that solution to all the problems faced by Pakistan lies in a free, fair and transparent election and public's mandate to an honest and patriotic leadership.
He was speaking at a reception arranged by the All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APMA) in honour of those who performed Haj this year and belong to Urdu Bazar and Paper market Lahore. Paracha stated that Haj gives lesson of unity but all our problems are result of deviation from this lesson.
He said drone attacks terrorism, economic instability and political crisis had made life of our nation miserable. He said that public should elect such a leadership, which had no stigma of corruption and which only thinks national and public interests instead of personal benefits.
Jamaat leader said that price hike, unemployment and anarchy in the country had reached to that point where it seemed that a revolution was knocking at the doors for changing the situation. APMA President Sami Ullah Butt speaking at this function said that traders' community was very loyal to the country and wanted to generate revenue for the country and contribute in its development. However, he regretted that bad governance and attitude of the bureaucracy was an impediment in the way of this development.
