General David H Petreaus, Commander International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) called on Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Monday at General Headquarters and discussed matters of professional interest. Meanwhile, General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of General Staff, United Kingdom also had separate meeting with Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
The visiting dignitary remained with them for some time and discussed matters related to evolving security situation of the region with special emphasis on Afghanistan and other affairs of bilateral interest.
