In an attempt to explore all available solutions to the ongoing economic crisis, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is holding Economic Dialogue 2011 on Tuesday (today). The Economic Dialogue 2011 is aimed at providing the government a roadmap for economic revival as a number of internal and external challenges to the business community have now started taking their toll.
Leading Economic experts, policy makers and top-notch business leaders would be giving their views to clear the murk and bring transparency in the decision making process of the government and the private sector. The decision to initiate an economic dialogue has been taken as the growing gap between revenue and expenditure has increased the vulnerability of economic framework, requiring the federal and provincial governments to tighten belt with a view to putting economy on track.
