With temperatures plummeting to as low as zero degrees or below, winter this year has been harsh especially for the flood affectees. Mobilink Foundation, the non-profit philanthropic arm of Pakistan's market leader in cellular services Mobilink, in continuation of its efforts for the flood-affected people, distributed winter clothes amongst women and children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
The clothes distribution initiative will benefit more than 7,000 flood affected individuals across Pakistan. Around 2,000 warm clothes for women and 3,000 garments for children 12 years or younger will be distributed in the regions most affected by floods across Pakistan. Another 2,000 sweaters will also be distributed for infants between one to two years of age.-PR
