A high level meeting to review the export of wheat was held under the chairmanship of Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, here on Tuesday. The meeting reviewed wheat export of the last year crop and decided that government will continue export of wheat.
It was also observed that Food Department would sell the wheat on agreed price by 31st April, 2011. The meeting also reviewed condition of present wheat crop and termed it satisfactory. The meeting was attended by Chairman P&D Javed Aslam, Secretary Agriculture Nadeem Arif, Secretary Food, Irfan Elahi and Food Minister Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor.
