University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) will continue striving hard to achieve new heights of quality education and working motto "sky is the limit, our best has yet come we work to achieve best".
This was stated by UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz, while speaking on inaugural session on 4-week Professional Competency Enhancement Programme for Teachers (PCEPT) part II, organised by UVAS Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) with the collaboration of Higher Education Commission here on Wednesday at conference hall.
Dean faculty of veterinary science Professor Dr Nasim Ahmad, dean faculty of animal production and technology Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, dean faculty of biosciences Professor Dr Ijaz Ahmad, dean faculty of fisheries and aquaculture Professor Dr Noureen Aziz Qureshi attended the workshop.
UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Nawaz urged the faculty members not to shy improving the quality education through learning. Professor Nawaz explained that teacher is the best judge to know the psyche of students what he thoughts because teacher effects on student progress.
He said that teachers are society ambassadors who are sent to prepare students to make honourable citizens. There is no substitute of hard work. Dean faculty of animal technology and production Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that PCEPT would be valuable for novice teachers to provide golden opportunity to develop teaching methodology and pedagogical skills.
