Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday directed the Ministry of Water and Power to take immediate steps for the early completion of construction of two power houses on the left bank of Sadpara Dam Project in Skardu. The Prime Minister issued the directives to ensure smooth and uninterrupted power supply to the local population.
The Prime Minister in his visit to Skardu in November, 2009 had announced construction of power houses on the left bank of Sadpara Dam Project. The project is considered to be a main lifeline for the socio-economic uplift of the local people.
