Punjab Senior Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad said on Sunday that provincial ministers of the PPP would hold a sit-in in front of the Punjab Assembly building on Tuesday if the PML-N Chief did not respond to the 19-point agenda presented by the PPP.
Talking to the media here, he said the PPP had been trying to point out various issues to Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the last three years but not a single issue had been resolved.
He said the PPP was a major coalition partner of the PML-N in the provincial assembly but the Chief Minister did not take it into confidence. He said the party had decided to record its protest in case of failure of the PML-N in implementation of recommendations of the PPP and the sit-in would be its first phase.
