Punjab Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rana Sanaullah here on Sunday has asked the PPP Ministers to better announce to stage a sit-in in front of the residences of their central leadership instead of giving a deadline to stage a sit-in in front of the Punjab Assembly since their leadership has not yet given approval to their 19-point agenda.
The Law Minister expressed the opinion that it would have been better if the provincial PPP leadership had persuaded its central leadership before putting forward the agenda and then moved to some other direction as, by doing so, better results could have come up.
He pointed out that the PPP central leadership was keeping a mum over the demands of the PPP provincial minister which was a candid proof of the fact that he did not consult anyone in that regard. He expressed astonishment that even the top PPP leaders were ignorant of the agenda tabled by the PPP Punjab and, above all, they had nothing to do with the same.
The Provincial Minister also expressed the opinion that the PPP Ministers should have first resigned from their offices and then put forward their demands to the PML-N leadership. He expressed regret that the PPP Ministers wanted to take double advantage of their position but the masses had seen through their double standards and now they would not be taken in their gambit.
