Anti outlaw drive 30 persons including three women held; pistols, valuables recovered
Islamabad Police during its on-going anti-outlaw drive have nabbed 30 persons including three women and recovered six pistols, one gun, stolen commodities worth Rs 250,000, one kg charas and two bottles liqueur from their possession. Shalimar Police apprehended three women for their involved in a theft and recovered stolen items including gold ornaments worth Rs 250,000 from them.
The women identified as Shahida, Shehla and Pathani had embarked in a house of Muhammad Adil Bilal and looted valuables of Rs 250,000, the spokesman of Islamabad Police said on Tuesday. Aabpara Police arrested an accused Muhammad Naseer during a routine patrolling and on search one pistol 30-bore, 25 bullets were recovered from his possession. Secretariat Police responded to a tip off and nabbed a drug pusher Javed Iqbal and recovered 300 gram charas from his possession.
Bhara Kahu Police during a routine checking stopped an accused Aamir Mehmud and on search 320 gram charas was recovered from him. Margalla Police arrested two drug pushers Fobod and Aashiqan for having 500 gram charas. Shahzad Town Police during routine patrolling stopped two persons Gul Zaman and Shahid Mehmud and on search two pistols (30-bore) and eight bullets were recovered from them.
Nilore Police nabbed Saleem and Safdar Shah for possessing two bottles of liqueur, whereas, Koral Police arrested an accused Nur Khan for carrying illegal rifle 44-bore and 15 bullets. Sihala Police arrested Zubair and Muhammad Hussain for having two 32 bore pistols and five rounds.
Kohsar and Shehzad Town Police stations arrested 13 suspects during search operation who have failed in showing their identity papers to police. Further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has directed the authority concerned to continue crackdown against the criminal elements and ensure safety to people through extra vigilance.
